It all started with a boy, sheets of paper, and a pencil —
what inspired us?
Throughout Term 1 of Shane’s Preparatory Year at a local primary school in Melbourne, he showed keen interest in the books that he took home to read on daily basis as part of the school’s program. As he developed a better comprehension of reading skills, he began creating his own books by gathering a few pieces of blank papers and folding them into halves, collating into pages. He would then diligently write his first book, with the parents being completely oblivious of his work thinking that he was doing his usual scribble and sketching.
A few days later, Shane’s parents found Shane crying and frantically looking for something and the only clue he could give them was “the book”. As the parents finally found it, he gleamed with joy and endearingly presented the book to them. This is the very book that he titled “I Love You” complete with his own cover page and illustration. Touched by Shane’s sincerity and endearment, his parents decided to publish his creation to serve as inspiration for children and adults alike.

He finds immense joy in ball games, swimming, writing, drawing, and playing with toys, especially when his parents and sister also get involved. With his infectious bubbly character, he stands as the true bundle of joy in the family.
Shane is not just an endearing son but also a caring brother, cherishing his little sister as his closest confidante, sharing snacks and toys along their delightful journey.
